1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how ARHONEORIGINAL HOLDINGS LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use Let's Find Out ("the App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data transparently.

2. Information We Collect

2a. Information You Provide

2b. Information Collected Automatically

2c. Camera, Barcode, and Photo Data

When you use the barcode scanner, we access your device camera to read barcodes and identify products. Barcode data (the decoded number) is processed to check against recall databases. When the auto-capture or manual photo feature is used, a compressed image is sent to our server and forwarded to OpenAI's Vision API solely for product identification. Images are processed in real-time and are not stored on our servers. OpenAI does not use API-submitted images for model training (per their API data usage policy).

2d. Voice Data

When you use the voice search feature, audio recordings are sent to OpenAI's Whisper API for transcription. Audio is processed in real-time and is not stored on our servers after processing is complete.

2e. Biometric Data

If you enable biometric authentication (Face ID, Touch ID, fingerprint), biometric data is processed entirely on your device by the operating system. We never receive, store, or transmit your biometric data.

3. How We Use Your Data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties. Data may be used for:

4. AI Processing

When you use AI-powered features (recall explanations, fact-checking), your queries are sent to OpenAI's API for processing. We do not send any personally identifiable information to AI services — only the content of your query. OpenAI's data usage is governed by their own privacy policy and API terms.

5. Third-Party Services

We integrate with the following third-party services:

Each third-party service has its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them.

5a. Advertising

The free tier of the App displays advertisements via Google AdMob. Ads may be personalized based on your device's advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, GAID on Android). On iOS 14.5+, we will request your permission via App Tracking Transparency (ATT) before using your IDFA for personalized ads. If you decline, you will still see ads, but they will not be personalized. You can reset your advertising identifier or opt out of personalized ads at any time through your device settings.

6. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely and protected by:

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

8. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

The App is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. The App does not require account creation to use core features (barcode scanning, browsing, fact-checking). If a child under 13 creates an account, parental consent is required. If you believe we have collected data from a child under 13 without proper consent, please contact us immediately at support@letsfindoutllc.com and we will promptly delete such information.

11. International Users (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Our legal basis for processing your data includes: consent, contract performance, legitimate interests, and legal compliance. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us.

12. Push Notifications

With your permission, we may send push notifications about recalls affecting your saved products. You can disable notifications at any time through your device settings or in-app preferences.

13. Cookies and Tracking

The App may use session cookies for authentication purposes. Third-party advertising (Google AdMob) may use device advertising identifiers for ad personalization, as described in Section 5a. On iOS, we request your consent via App Tracking Transparency before enabling personalized ads. We do not engage in cross-app tracking beyond what is required for ad delivery.
