This page explains how to request deletion of your Let's Find Out account and the personal data associated with it. Let's Find Out is developed and operated by ARHONEORIGINAL HOLDINGS LLC.
How to Delete Your Account — In the App (Recommended)
The fastest way to delete your account is from inside the App:
- Open the Let's Find Out app on your device
- Tap the Settings tab at the bottom of the screen
- Scroll down to the Account section
- Tap Delete Account
- Confirm by typing DELETE when prompted
- Tap Permanently Delete
Your account and all associated personal data are deleted immediately upon confirmation. You will be signed out automatically.
How to Delete Your Account — By Email
If you no longer have access to the App, you can request account deletion by emailing us:
- Send an email to support@letsfindoutllc.com
- Use the subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
- Include the email address associated with your Let's Find Out account
We will verify your identity and complete the deletion within 30 days of receiving your request.
What Data Is Deleted
When you delete your account, the following personal data is permanently removed from our servers:
- Account information: email address, password hash, account creation date
- Inventory items: all products you saved (barcodes, lot numbers, nicknames, categories)
- Recall alerts: all alerts generated for your inventory
- Fact-check history: queries you submitted, results, and saved sources tied to your account
- Push notification tokens: all device tokens and notification preferences
- Feedback you submitted (if linked to your account)
What Data May Be Retained
Some data may be retained after account deletion in the following limited circumstances:
- Anonymized analytics: aggregate usage statistics that cannot be linked back to you may be retained indefinitely for service improvement
- Legal compliance: records we are required to keep by law (e.g., tax records for paid subscriptions) are retained for the period required by applicable law, typically up to 7 years
- Subscription/payment records: if you had a Premium subscription, RevenueCat may retain transaction records as required by Apple, Google, and applicable financial regulations
- Backup systems: data may persist in encrypted backups for up to 90 days before being permanently overwritten
Retained data is never used for marketing or new processing — only for the legal/operational purposes listed above.
Premium Subscriptions
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active Premium subscription. To cancel a Premium subscription, please:
- iOS: Open the App Store → tap your profile → Subscriptions → Let's Find Out → Cancel
- Android: Open Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Let's Find Out → Cancel
Cancel your subscription before deleting your account to ensure you are not charged for future billing periods.
